T_T maya prototypes

I'm currently trying to modify my cactus & balloon characters into 3D with Maya. I guess things aren't going as smooth as I wanted it to be. I can't quite seem to get them to look like the designs I did on the comic strip.

Second Life : Octopus suit^^

Wow, I know you can adjust the appearances but I didn't know this was possible! (i'm such a no0b). I was exploring around areas and came across this octopus suit and I just wanted it.

EEEK! I've finally got the NIKON D60 VR Lens kit!

Nya-hahahahaha! After months of saving up and not taking days off at work! I finally have enough money to buy my first SLR CAMERA! I chose the Nikon D60 because it's the one with the 18m-55m VR (vibration resistor) lens. It has many of the functions from the beast D300 and it's much smaller XD. I played around with it and it's so exciting! The digital camera I had before was only 4 mega pixels and it was rubbish and all the photos are blurry. T_T I'm so haaaapy!!!!

Song:"I'm a man" by Spencer Davis Group. I love this commercial and it was taken off the TV by the RSPCA (grrrr....) because of the scene where he starts shivering T_T. I liked how they manipulated the dog's mouth though hahahaha.

Characters 'vectorised' ?

Based on the illustrations that I did on photoshop this is the main character for my interactive storybook. It had to be recognised as the ugly duckling but I also wanted to make it look innocent so people would like him.

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T77 Digital Camera

My cousin brought ' for herself' a christmas present and it's one of Sony's slimmest cameras created (although it might not be the slimmest in the world). She showed it to me and that's why I want to talk about it.

So what's so special about this ultra-slim camera? I played around with it and I found out something really fun about it. It has a function called 'Smile Shutter Mode' where it only takes the picture when a smile is detected which means u don't need to press anything and the camera self-takes the image. Not bad, since it is Sony after all but I prefer Nikon or Canon cameras.
